I don't have the words to express how grateful my partner and I are to Randy. I am not one to leave reviews, but I really believe it is important as Randy honestly saved our trip. We had been travelling for 2 months when we spotted a major oil leak. It happened in Kakadu, and it was on a Friday, and the following Monday was a public holiday. After calling some people in Darwin and around, Randy picked up and offered to have a look at the car in the afternoon. He received us around 4 pm and started investigating. From the get go, he has been totally honest with us and said that it would take time and money, and would only be possible the following week. However, after discussing our situation, he offered to have a look at it from 9am the next day. In fact, we had time sensitive issues as I was leaving the country in the next weeks and had to make it home in NSW. As agreed, we came back the next day, and helped by one of his trainees, Randy dismantled the whole engine to access the broken rubbers, change them, the water pump and the belts, and rebuilt the whole engine in only a day. He worked until past 7pm and managed to get everything sorted for us. On top of that, I believe that he did not even charge us the full price for such a repair. Anyway, I have no words to explain how happy and liable we are to Randy, whose professionalism allowed us to finish our trip on time with a perfectly safe and sound car. Next time we are up there, you can be sure we will swing by his shop to say hi and thank him again 1000 times.
